URLS POSTING RACISM IN THE POCECIL TAG.

WHY ARE THEY STILL HERE, WHY ARE THEY NOT GONE? WHAT IS THE FANDOM DOING!?

image

Block. report. Work to make this fucking shit DISAPPEAR.

White “allies” who have previously expressed horror at the racism in this fandom, now is the time for you to actually do something.

Sometimes i think “yeah! Adult! I can make appointments and be responsible” but then i remember i choke on water on a regular basis and would survive entirely off frozen pizza rolls if i could afford it

Anonymous asked: Hi, friend! I hope you are doing well! I remember that a while ago you did some synesthetic reviews of songs and I'm terribly curious to see what you think of the new Owl City song, "Beautiful Times". If you don't want to, that's fine. Have a great day! <3

(Ah, sorry I took so long to get to this anon!)

Oh, I haven’t heard that one. I’m gonna try to type up as I listen to it. Here we go.

The opening notes are a kind of light metallic blue, and they look like sparks on a whitish background. They’re easy to see, though. It’s like they’re on a darker background, but it’s very clearly either white or a very light shade of gray. When the synth comes in it’s almost like a cloud of purple washes over them.

The singer’s voice is light purple, and looks like a ribbon. When he talks, the ribbon snaps or wiggles, depending mainly on how hard or soft the sounds he’s making are. In spins and twists a lot in this song. The background notes are more metallic sparks, and the snare is like a sort of soft white strobe far, far in the background.

Around the 24 second mark things start to almost… roll to the side? And they all take on a kind of golden tint. The hard percussion is black flashes in the background.

Marsha P. Johnson, transgender gay rights activist (1944 – 1992)
Little known (or recognized) in the Stonewall Rebellion that launched gay liberation, was the role of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. These two transgender activists were on the leading edge of the rebellion, battling the police, and coining the term “Whose Streets, Our Streets!”
Marsha co-founded STAR (Street Transvestite/Transgender Action Revolutionaries) with Sylvia Rivera, to help aid, feed and shelter queer/trans people without homes and those who’d runaway.
Marsha was found floating in the Hudson River shortly after the 1992 Pride March; the police declined to investigate and ruled her death suicide. Marsha P. Johnson remains a legendary figure in the fight for queer liberation as part of the struggle for racial and economic justice.
